Dry Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CAEBS) Initial Deployment Training

This training is for personnel that are issued with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CAEBS) whilst travelling to work by helicopter and may be required to use a CAEBS in the event of an emergency.

Information

This Training ensures that the learner gains the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CAEBS) and appropriate practical emergency response actions.

Learners must possess a valid BOSIET/FOET/HUET/T-BOSIET/T-FOET/T-HUET (or Industry agreed equivalent) certificate prior to attending.

This training includes physical activities, and learners must be medically fit to participate. Learners must hold a valid offshore or employer-approved medical, a recognised fitness-to-work-at-sea or diving medical, and/or complete an OPITO medical screening form at SEQU. Learners are responsible for declaring any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
