It provides the knowledge and practical skills to plan and carry out safe rescue operations using approved equipment, with emphasis on casualty safety, suspension trauma management, and controlled rescue procedures.

A valid or current offshore medical, or possess an operator approved medical, and/or undergo medical screening form in SEQU.
The objectives of the Working at Height (With Rescue) Training are that learners will be able to:
- Understand general requirements and principles related to working at height.
- Identify common working at height hazards and potential consequences.
- Understand the hierarchy of control applied to working at height activities.
- Differentiate between fall restraint, fall arrest, and work positioning systems.
- Recognise basic working at height equipment and conduct visual pre-use checks.
- Apply safe work practices when working at height under supervision.
- Understand the principles and hierarchy of rescue at height.
- Recognise the effects and risks of suspension trauma and apply appropriate controls.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of a rescue at height.
- Demonstrate basic rescue techniques using approved rescue equipment.
- Carry out a controlled rescue and casualty handling following a fall incident.
